Okay so let's talk 24. First a little ranting.
First off, I was really upset about Tony's death because we didn't get a chance to appreciate it. I mean he didn't even get a silent count. What is up with that? I have made it clear how I feel like the 24 writers have been killed off the best characters (Nina Myers, Sherry Palmer) in a manner that can be characterized as unceremonious at best, freaking lame at worst. Palmer and Michelle's deaths seemed to be reversing this trend, but then Tony, we didn't even know that he was dead until FOX updated the 24 website. WTF man?
Tony Almeida is arguably the third most important 24 character behind Jack and President Palmer. There is no question that he was one of Jack's best friends - a development that nobody would have seen coming for most of season 1.
